SkuVitalsData Retention Policy

This policy describes how long SkuVitals keeps data and how it is deleted. It restates, in merchant-facing language, the retention schedule in our internal data-handling documentation.
No raw order payloads
SkuVitals never retains raw order or refund payloads. Order data is streamed, folded into per-variant sales aggregates, and discarded; any temporary file downloaded during a bulk sync is deleted immediately after it is processed. The only order-derived data we keep is aggregate sales totals per variant.
What we retain, and for how long

Deletion
On uninstall. When you remove the App, we mark the store uninstalled and clear the stored access token so no further access is possible. Store data is retained at this point only until the redaction request below.
On shop/redact. Shopify sends this request approximately 48 hours after uninstall. On receipt we delete
your store record and all associated data — products, variants, inventory, sales aggregates, health metrics,
catalog issues, action logs, exports, subscription records, and settings — in a single operation.
Customer data requests. Because SkuVitals stores no customer personal data, Shopify's customers/data_request
and customers/redact webhooks are acknowledged with nothing to return or erase.
Backups
We keep encrypted backups of the database on a short rolling schedule so we can recover from a failure; older
backups are overwritten in the ordinary course of operations. Data you delete, or that is deleted on a
shop/redact request, is removed from the live systems immediately and is purged from backups as those backups
cycle out of the retention window rather than being individually extracted from each backup.
