How the slow-mover score works

A slow mover is stock that is selling, just too slowly for how much you're holding — it will take a long time to sell through. It's an early warning before something becomes dead stock.

How it's decided

SkuVitals looks at products that are not already dead stock and not excluded. For a product that's active, in stock, and selling, it estimates the days to sell out at the current pace and compares that to your slow-mover threshold (T) — 30 days by default:

Sells out in T days or less → healthy (score 0).
2× T → score 50.
3× T or slower → score 100.

The score maps to a status:

A product that has stock and isn't selling much — but hasn't yet crossed the dead-stock line — is put on Watch, so it's on your radar early. Products that are sold out, or genuinely selling fast, are healthy.

Aging buckets

On the Inventory page, on-hand stock is also grouped into aging buckets by days since last sale — 0–30, 31–60, 61–90, 91–120, and 120+. Items that have never sold age from when SkuVitals first saw them.

Tune it in Settings

Change the slow-mover days threshold in Settings to make the flag stricter or more lenient.
