Uninstall & data handling

You can remove SkuVitals at any time from your Shopify admin (Settings → Apps, or the app's overflow menu → Delete). Here's exactly what happens to your data.

When you uninstall

• SkuVitals immediately disconnects from your store and clears its stored access token, so it can no longer access anything.
• Your subscription ends through Shopify — you won't be charged again.
• Your analysis data is retained only briefly, until the redaction step below.

Deletion (Shopify's redaction request)

About 48 hours after uninstall, Shopify sends SkuVitals a shop/redact request. On receiving it, SkuVitals permanently deletes your store record and all associated data — products, variants, inventory, sales aggregates, health scores and issues, action history, exports, settings, and subscription records.

Customer data requests

Because SkuVitals stores no customer personal data, Shopify's customers/data_request and customers/redact requests are acknowledged with nothing to return or erase.

Reinstalling

If you reinstall later, SkuVitals starts fresh — it re-syncs your catalog and recomputes everything, just like a first install (see Getting started).
